I went to the Hollywood and Highland Center to check out the Los Angeles premiere for Jurassic World despite the on and off rain, which happened to be more \”on\” once I arrived there. The premiere screening was in the Dolby Theatre. I started out at the curb where the stars would be arriving, but due to the not-fan-friendly setup, I moved up to the 3rd level to take photos from above. The red carpet press area was setup as a labyrinth of sorts.

Here are a few of the arrivals while I was at street level. This first picture is from the Hollywood Blvd. EarthCam which I took a screenshot of from my EarthCam app. I\’m in the far left corner next to the girl in the bright green shirt. I had a couple of shots of Peter Fonda and the back of Bryce Dallas Howard, but I have better pictures from inside the shopping center.

The stars arrived from my right on the outside circle where they made a sharp right turn into the inner circle where the had the photographs for the still shots. This wrapped around and the stars then went inside the to the center area where the syndicated entertainment shows had their cameras setup. They went down one side then around to the other (my left) side, then out and to the left to where there smaller press area was and a tiny fan section (I believe these fans won passes to see the screening).

I\’ll be honest, there are some people who I don\’t know why they were doing press. Peter Fonda was interviewed in the center press area, then Yara Shahidi and Greer Grammer were also doing press, but are not in the film as far as I can tell. Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara did the photos, then left to go inside the theater.
There was a cute moment just as Chris Pratt and Anna Faris got to the still photographers area where Anna held back so that Chris could get his pictures done. He motioned for her to join him, but she was trying to let him have his photo taken since it\’s his film, but he wanted her by his side. It was really cute. They were continually being sweet with each other in the madhouse that is a Hollywood movie premiere.
