This was the very first \”panel\” at the very first Heroes & Villains Fan Fest which was held at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose California during the weekend of  November 21-22, 2015.  It was a smaller convention with everything happening in one area of the convention center.  There were a few vendors (including the famous Psycho Donuts), air soft gun target practice, some sort of bungee bouncer, and a small zip line for the guests as well as a laser tag area (for an additional fee) in another room. There was also a small kids zone with a room for gaming.

The first panel was called \”Super Charades,\” and I wasn\’t sure what to expect because there weren\’t any specifics about it in he program/schedule.  I did see that Neal McDonough was scheduled to participate, and he wasn\’t listed to be on any of the other panels, so we went to check it out.

I\’m so very glad we did, because it was a game of charades played by two teams consisting of Christina Wren and John Barrowman on one team with Willa Holland and Neal McDonough on the other.  Two audience members were invited to participate, with a young boy chosen to be on the Barrowman/Wren team and a lady chosen for the McDonough/Holland team.

I only recorded video of the actual game play, but there was plenty of smack talk between plays between the two teams.

The best was when Neal McDonough asked for some strong guys to come up to the stage (stage left), and he stage dived!  John Barrowman, never one to miss an opportunity, also dived into the audience, followed by Willa who wasn\’t going to let the men have all of the fun.  Unfortunately, I only managed to get decent photos of John Barrowman\’s stage dive.

I think this was a great way to start the con as it definitely set the tone for the rest of the weekend.  The panels were fun and loose, with other guests making surprise appearances (which will be mentioned in those panels\’ posts) or distracting the panelists.  If you haven\’t seen John Barrowman\’s videos from that weekend, I highly recommend you head to his Facebook page and check them out.
