This had to be one of the weirdest panels I’ve ever seen at a con.  The first, but small, bit of “weirdness” was near the beginning when Megan Fox came onto stage from the wrong side.  She mentioned that she didn’t want to walk so far.  She was chewing gum during the entire panel, too.

Just look at Stephen Amell’s bicep!!

The really weird part was when they went to audience questions a little early because there was someone already at the microphone (it appears that she didn’t even get into the line that was along the wall), so they turned on the mic spotlight for her to ask her question.  I don’t know if the girl was on drugs or just really confused, but her question made no sense and was directed at “Eliza” (no one named Eliza was on stage).  Megan Fox tried to clarify the question, but it didn’t do any good, and it was just getting weirder and security came up to the girl and escorted her out of the room.

It was awkward for another moment as the people on stage tried to move on from that incident.  Overall, Megan Fox came off a bit snobbish in her responses to most of the questions.  It was such a light-hearted panel when Stephen Amell came on stage and chatted a bit before they brought Megan Fox out.  It became awkward and weird once she arrived.  It was just a strange experience, and I’m not sure it helped the film’s promotion in any way.

I didn\t hate the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie last year(?), but it could have been a lot better.  I feel Megan Fox is the weak link, but I’m hoping the addition of Stephen Amell will make this next installment much more entertaining.
