Comic-Con International rolled out a new RFID system at WonderCon 2016, and I heard there were a lot of problems on the first day (Friday) for most people, but I didn’t have any issues with it at all.  In fact, it worked 100x better than the RFID bracelet at Silicon Valley Comic Con.

I never had a chance to walk the entire exhibition floor, because I spent most of my time at panels inside the Microsoft Theater.  I did visit a friend at the IDW Publishing booth so I could give him some Batman v. Superman promo items I had for him.  It was a very busy weekend, but I had a great con and saw some great cosplays.  I wish I had hung out around the South Hall lobby to take more pictures of the amazing cosplays.

The Microsoft Theater uses their own security so you couldn’t bring glass containers or open drink containers into the venue.  There were bag searches and metal detectors as well.  The seats are very comfortable which makes sitting through several panels very easy.  It was also very easy to move up and get really good seats up close.

I’m hoping to make it to Phoenix Comic Con in June then it’s all about San Diego Comic Con in July.
