We went to Las Vegas in April 2022 for a convention, but we only attended the convention one day and spent the rest of the weekend enjoying Las Vegas.

We stayed at the Park MGM for the first time, and we enjoyed staying there. We mostly walked around enjoying the great weather and temperatures. Our room was comfortably sized, and there is a sofa/bench along the window which was nice to sit and look outside at the view of the mountains.
We did spend almost an hour at the Haus of Gaga exhibit in addition to taking fun photos around the strip. We also tried the limited-edition flavor of Coca-Cola called Starlight. I think it had a hint of cotton candy flavor to it, and we both liked it. There were a variety of photo ops which I couldn’t pass up. I am absolutely someone who loves a silly photo opportunity whether it’s posing with oversized candy characters or pretending to be a Barbie doll.
Haus of Gaga is located inside the Park MGM, and it showcases some of Lady Gaga’s iconic outfits. It was incredible to see these pieces up close. The egg inside of which she arrived at the 2011 Grammy Awards was also on display when we visited. In person the egg appears quite fragile and semi-translucent. I’ve only included a few of the items on display at Haus of Gaga.
Haus of Gaga is free to enter and worth the thirty minutes to an hour you could spend inside.
Of course, we needed to get some gelato from Eataly on this trip, and it was delicious! We arrived less than twenty minutes before their closing time, and there was a long line, but it was definitely worth the wait.

We decided to find a breakfast place away from the strip before we headed home. A quick Google search gave us Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs on Eastern Avenue in Henderson. We both got a skillet breakfast which was incredibly good, and way too much food. They actually serve it in a large, possibly twelve inch, frying pan. Peg’s is now a staple for us whenever we go to Las Vegas. They do have three locations to choose from in the Las Vegas/Henderson area, but we can only speak for the Eastern Avenue location in Henderson. I’m sure they are all great, and we’ll need to try the other locations on future visits to the area.
